Sanctuary - Shaar Shalom

Welcome. Shaar Shalom Synagogue is a traditional Conservative Synagogue affiliated with the United Synagogues of Conservative Judaism. Located in Markham, Ontario, we are just one block north of the Toronto intersection of Don Mills Road and Steeles Avenue.

We conduct services every day of the year, both morning and evening. We welcome you to join us. Many who attend our daily minyonim do so to recite Kaddish and we welcome anyone who needs a minyon for this purpose. On Shabbat and Yom Tov mornings we are led by a combination of laymen and our Cantor, all under the supervision of our Rabbi.

We pride ourselves on being a warm and welcoming congregation and community. If you are just visiting and need a place to daven we hope that you will find our services fulfilling. If you are considering membership we urge you to attend services and meet some of our members and experience the way in which we celebrate our connection with Hashem.
