Shaar Shalom has a vibrant Sisterhood group. This group is pivotal in creating friendships among their members and is very welcoming to new members. Our Sisterhood is affiliated with the Women’s League of Conservative Judaism and holds board meetings once every six weeks and general meetings are communicated as need be. You can be as involved as you choose with activities such as:

- To foster friendship among the women of our congregation;
- To carry out meaningful activities in support of our synagogue and of the Conservative movement;
- To further a woman’s Jewish education in the synagogue, in the home, and in the community;
- To promote the Torah Fund Campaign on behalf of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America;
- And to develop the personal growth of each member
